Autodnld Command Line ArgumentsPlease note that all command line arguments are case-insensitive. Arguments
-cForce creation and/or update of CMO, pooldata and bonddata tracking filesAutodnld will assume that you have whatever data is currently posted on the Intex ship servers. -configConfigures AutoDnld to user defined settings. This option will prompt the user for settings to put into the .ini file on the Intex ship servers. -dbstatusRun dbstatus test-dbstatus_uploadRun dbstatus test, and if an error, will try to upload the file to Intex. Make sure your firewall allows this before trying.-force_redownload (FTP Downloads Only)If autodnld fails in downloading a shipment, it will not redownload files it was successful in downloading already. To force re-downloading the files, you can run with this option.-get_idThis will check for intra-day shipments, and download any new files. It will not check for other data.-h subdirhome directory; change to this subdir as the script starts; should be the scripts subdir-in_useChecks the "in_use" temp directory for any files that were not able to unzip to their proper location. If it finds any files, it will try to copy them again, then quit. It will keep a running log of successful copies in Previously_copied.txt. Autodnld also does this every time it is run, at the start and the end of the run. Only applies to Windows users using pkzip.-ip (version 3.20 and higher)Uses an included exe file (httpdump.exe) to connect to the Intex website. It can then determine what the IP address that Intex sees and check it against a list of valid IPs stored in the file log\valid_ips.log. So a successfull shipment must have been processed at one point for this to work. If there are connection problems autodnld will check this automatically in normal use and noticy you if there are any problems.-kill_autodnldThis will kill other versions of autodnld running. Be careful with this feature, and only use it if you have a problem with autodnld hanging or autodnld the lock file open. In order for this to work, it must be a Windows system. Also, the system must have pstools installed, so autodnld can use the utilities pslist, and pskill. To install pstools. please visit, www.sysinternals.com -pool_data_purgeUse this switch to test the purging of pool data before actually enabling it.If you use this switch in the command line, autodnld will report which pooldata files, if any, it would have purged if purging truly was enabled. You may want to consider adding the following lines to your autodnld.ini file: pool_data_purge=1 pool_data_months_back=N -get_pooldata_archiveUse this switch to test to download pooldata from the pooldata archive (older than 24 months). NOTE: You must be eligible for the pooldata archive service in order for this switch to work. Please contact your business rep for details. NOTE: This switch is intended for one-time use to back-fill your pooldata and should not be turned on for your regular downloads. We recommend using the switches -suppress_inf_cmo and -suppress_inf_pooldata with this switch so that Autodnld will only download from the pooldata archive in this single instance. If you use this switch at the command line, autodnld will download pooldata from the pooldata archive. Please be sure you have set pool_data_months_back to a number greater than 24, otherwise this switch will not do anything. Pooldata archive goes as far back as 1979, so please make sure the pool_data_months_back is set to a number that you can support with your current disk space. -pruneNote: By default this is turned OFF. Intex does not recommend using this method unless you have at least a monthly back up of this data that is preserved (not overwritten) each month. Activating this will delete cdu files that do not meet criteria set. Use this switch to "prune" the database. The depth to which you prune is determined by the autodnld.ini file. -skip_id (version 5.05 and higher)Ignores the get_id setting in autodnld.ini for for an autodnld run.-suppress_inf_xxx (version 2.45 and higher)NOTE: This feature is rarely used. Allows autodnld to skip downloading certain files. For example, running autodnld with -suppress_inf_pooldata would skip downloading pooldata files.Possible switches are
-tRuns a test connection to Intex servers, tries to download some sample data, attempts to send an email, and runs a DBStatus report.-update_exe (version 3.20 and higher)This will connect to the Intex ship servers and download the latest version of autodnld. Autodnld also does this automatically every time it is run, unless the setting "skip_update_exe=y" is included in the ini file.-vdisplay the version number and exit |
